SMS Messaging Opt-In Policy

Last updated: September 2026

This policy documents how recipients provide consent to receive text (SMS) messages sent through the Tuxon platform. Tuxon is a customer-communication platform. The businesses that subscribe to Tuxon ("Businesses") send text messages — such as appointment reminders, order and account notifications, and service updates — to their own customers and contacts.

Consent is always required. Tuxon and its Businesses only send text messages to recipients who have affirmatively agreed to receive them. We do not message numbers that have not consented, and we never send to purchased or third-party lists.

This is the consent form a Business shows to collect permission to text. It appears on the Business's website, booking page or Tuxon-powered chat widget. Enter the number that should receive the messages, tick the box to agree, and submit.

How recipients opt in

Consent to receive SMS is collected before any message is sent, using one or more of the following methods:

Records

Each consent record includes the phone number, the method of opt-in, the exact disclosure that was shown, and the date/time it was given. Opt-out events (a STOP reply, or an unsubscribe submitted on this page) are recorded the same way. Records are append-only, retained for the life of the Business's account, and made available to telecommunications carriers upon request to demonstrate that messaging complies with applicable laws.

See our SMS Terms & Conditions for message frequency, pricing, opt-out and carrier liability information.
